Why Did We Develop Equip?

Lightfully’s employee training must be intentional, systematized, and based on compentency. This is critical because:

Practicing psychotherapy is both an art and a science. Professional clinicians must have training beyond their educational degrees to perform case conceptualization, data-vetted clinical decision making, and treatment plan creation.

The treatment of mental health disorders requires proficiency in diverse therapeutic intervention — psychotherapists at Lightfully are required to be agile, versatile, and compassionate.

The Equip training method is critical, as the psychotherapy setting does not naturally provide feedback. The assessments shared during training help to shape both clinical skills and professional competence.

Lightfully Is a Learning Community.

Our desire is for each Lightfully employee to inhabit the work they do with competence and confidence. By helping them take steps toward their career goals, these continual learning opportunities make way for Lightfully’s feedback-driven culture.

Lightfully’s clinicians are trained in the science of data-driven decision making, and receive the practical tools they need to make real-time decisions about the client’s treatment. They’re equipped with a series of therapeutic interventions for use in creating treatment plans specific to each individual client’s needs.

Treating Lightfully clients is the opposite of a cookie cutter, ‘one-size-fits-all’ process. The Equip training community makes space for and honors the complexity of treating human suffering.
